Pavla Jurasek
Spiral Stabilization trainer and lecturer, yoga and meditation teacher 200 E-RYT,
Hello, my name is Pavla. We moved to Slovakia from Ireland during my second parental leave. Since I didn’t know anyone here and I wanted the children and I to have friends, I tried to find some activity that would bring us together.
Even then I knew the non-profit organization No Excuse Mom, which I contacted to find out if it has a branch in Slovakia. Since there was none here, they offered me to start leading a group in my area. And so my career switch started. Because I tried to help other women as much as possible, I started further education in the field of fitness. I took a coaching course. Fitness trainer, then expand my education on exercises for pregnant women.
I met the founder of No Excuse Moms Maria Kang from America during the leaders retreat in Prague and a year later I became a European manager.
Later I became yoga and meditation teacher. And after that Spiral Stabilization trainer too.
This method I enjoy very much. It helped me to improve my posture, my scoliosis got better and back pain that usually started after a few hours on my feet is no longer showing up at all.
I am constantly learning in this field to improve our services for the clients and in 2024 I became a lecturer of this method.
And now we are coming back to Ireland to offer this exercise to you too.

Jan Jurasek
Spiral Stabilization trainer, massage therapist
Hello. My name is Jan and together with my wife we are Spiral Stabilization trainers.
My family was very sporty and I also played sports wherever possible, whether it was running, swimming, or skiing.
I’ve tried many careers in my life and I’ve found that I like working with people the most.
As the years passed one day my back started to hurt. I started looking for alternative treatment and my wife and I came across the Spiral Stabilization. After just a few exercises, I felt better. The feeling, when I was able to move properly again without fear of being stabbed in the back during a sudden movement, was indescribable. That’s when I said to myself. The basis of success and happiness is to combine what you like to do with what can support you. And so my wife and I embarked on a long journey of studying the Spiral Stabilization at a professional level.
Since those times, we have already helped a large number of people from back pain. Thanks to us and regular exercise, either at home or with us under our supervision, many people have avoided spine surgery. Every time clients come to us with the news that their backs no longer hurt, we are charged with energy and enthusiasm to help more and more.

The Spiral Stabilization method was developed in the Czech Republic (Prague) by Dr Richard Smisek in 1979 and it continues to be developed and refined by him and his two daughters Kateřina and Zuzana.
He has worked closely with patients suffering from spine-related pain and also with acute disc herniations and scoliosis.
His passion for the method has progressed into the sporting arena, assisting professional athletes with conditioning, with the goal of improving their performance and preventing strains and degeneration of the spine and main joints while doing sports.
The method has been extremely popular in Europe for over 25 years, especially in Germany where treatments are provided through medical insurance. Currently you can find trainers and therapists all over the world.
